Lemon Water Benefits

I’ve been doing this every morning for the past 8 days and really like the results. I find that I’m not tired during the day and it fills me up in the mornings. I’m generally up around 6:00 AM and don’t have my green smoothie until 9:00 or 10:00 AM. I am a grazer, so I don’t follow a set eating schedule. Right now, I’m only drinking around 10 oz of water with half of a squeezed lemon. I use this routine to take some of my vitamins with the lemon water as I don’t tend to drink a lot of water in one sitting and this helps to get it all down. Adding some raw, unfiltered, local honey is a nice touch as well. I’ve even heard of drinking this mixture as a hot beverage.

    I’ve recently added lemon water to my morning f to outline as well but make mine with hot water! I squeeze a quarter of a lemon into a large hot beverage cup then put the rind into the cup too. Then I fill the cup with hot water and that’s how I start my day. Hot water primes the digestive system so it adds to all those benefits of lemon water you listed!
